Gaumont ha anunciado el elenco de voces para la próxima película Paul McCartney’s High in the Clouds, que incluye a Himesh Patel (Yesterday), Céline Dion, Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) e Idris Elba (Luther), entre otros.
Junto a Patel, Dion, Waddingham y Elba, también participan Lionel Richie, Jimmy Fallon (The Tonight Show), Clémence Poésy (Harry Potter), Pom Klementieff (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning), Alain Chabat (Night at the Museum), Ringo Starr y el propio McCartney.
La película está inspirada en el libro de aventuras infantiles del mismo nombre escrito por McCartney, Geoff Dunbar y Philip Ardagh. La adaptación está dirigida por Toby Genkel (The Amazing Maurice) y escrita por Jon Crocker (Paddington 2). El diseño de producción está a cargo de Patrick Hanenberger (Rise of the Guardians, LEGO Movie 2).
Paul McCartney’s High in the Clouds contará con canciones originales escritas y compuestas por McCartney, mientras que Michael Giacchino (Ratatouille, Up, Intensamente, Coco) será el encargado de la banda sonora.
La cinta está producida por Paul McCartney para MPL Communications; Robert Shaye y Michael Lynne para Unique Features; Sidonie Dumas, Nicolas Atlan y Terry Kalagian para Gaumont, en asociación con MPL Communications; Michele Anthony y David Blackman para Polygram Entertainment; Lemoko Investments; Sky y James L. Gaumont Animation está a cargo de la producción junto al equipo creativo de 88 Pictures (The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday, Spirit Untamed), responsable de elementos clave de la animación.
